Day four was probably the busiest but most exciting day we had in New York, we all met in the lobby soaking up the smell of fresh coffee and muffins and decided to go walk across the high line. It was such a beautiful sunny day so it made it the perfect time for a nice walk, I loved seeing the streets of New York and took plenty of pictures.
We then headed over to FIT one of the major fashion universities in New York, we met the rest of our course and headed upstairs to attend a talk with a perfumist called Veronica. For me I found this interesting, as beauty and perfume is an industry i've always been interested in working in. Although it was more about the science of perfumes, I still made plenty of notes which will be perfect for our next module on FCP.
We then left FIT and went to catch the water taxi to Brooklyn, having never visited Brooklyn before i was so excited to see what it had to offer. As soon as we stepped off the boat, I was literally speechless, the view of the manhattan skyline was absolutely incredible. After taking a good 50 pictures, we headed to grab some food as we were all starving. We found a shake shack almost straight away and oh my god I had a shack burger and it was quite possibly the nicest burger I've ever eaten.
After we'd scoffed our food down, Lizzy had told us about a really cute carousel next to the river so off we went. The carousel was placed in a glass box, enabling perfect views of the skyline and bridge whilst feeling young and free on the ride. It only cost $2 so our whole group hopped on, taking lots of selfies and having lots of laughs.
